Water Hunt out on the Land with Ms. Palozzi's Grade 1/2 class

Ms. Palozzi's class has been learning about the water cycle and all of the locations that you can find it. Cooper (the dog) joined us on the walk and provided a teachable moment, we discovered that there is water in dogs  - a surprising amount actually! Thank you Cooper, for your scientific demonstration (multiple times) on the walk!

Finding icicles (frozen water in solid form) was also a highlight on our walk.

Back in the classroom we talked about how water is recycled and wondered if any of the water we saw (or nibbled on), had ever been inside a dinosaur.
