Kristin Mckay and Lori Burger spent the day with PRMS
students as part of their Crest Pole Unit: Pts'aan created by the Aborginal
Education Department SD52. Grade 6 teachers and students participated in an
engaging art lesson by Frieda Diesing graduate, Kristin McKay. Students were
able to learn about basic formline and shapes within Pacific NorthCoast First
Nations Art, and experiment with design elements themselves!
