Hydaburg Alaska's Damen Bell-Holter Visits SD52 Schools

Professional basketball player Damen Bell-Holter, currently playing for Solar Agrigrigento of the Italian Basketball League and the first Haida to play in the NBA, visited some of SD52 schools. Damen's message to our district students was to show respect to oneself and others while working hard to accomplish your goals. He also spoke about growing up in the small coastal community of Hydaburg Alaska and the pride he holds in his Haida heritage.
