New dimentions at PRMS

Earlier this month, grade 6 students and teachers at PRMS  had visiting math teacher extraordinaire, Carole Fullerton, show them some hands on ways to learn about area, perimeter and volume. The class first explored 2D shapes to find area and perimeter and then explored a variety of 3D boxes (rectangular prisms) to find the volume. The students (and some teachers) also got a quick tutorial on how to draw 3D rectangular prisms so that they could draw and label their discoveries!
