FNESC Science Curriculum Resource in Action: Climate Change Unit Gr. 7

 Grade seven students taking part in collaborative learning while engaged with the New FNESC Science Curriculum Resource's unit on Climate Change.

Highlights so far is having Caroline Butler and Bruce Watkinson from

visit the classroom and share their knowledge about Traditional Ecological Knowledge, the Cumulative Effects impacting the marine environment and stewardship of the land and sea.

The students also visited the Oldfield Hatchery where operations manager, Lorelle Sunduk, spoke about the impact climate change is having on our local salmon bearing streams.
